General cargo ship SHUN SHIN collided with 60-ton fishing vessel some 50 nm south of southern Jeju island, Korea, East China sea, at around 0330 Seoul time Jan 6, according to Korean CG.
All 8 crew of fishing vessel were rescued, while vessel is still afloat with heavy fore tilt, stern raised above waterline. SHUN SHIN according to track, didn’t sail away after collision, probably taking part in fishermen rescue.
As of 1330 Seoul
time, she was sailing towards Jeju, interrupting her voyage from Busan,
obviously (port of destination undefined).
