10 crew of Singaporean bulk carrier BORDO MAVI were poisoned by unknown substance while carrying out works, on Feb 15, at Nevelsk port Anchorage, western Sakhalin island, Russia.
4 were hospitalized with mild symptoms, all remaining conscious, 6 refused to be hospitalized, suffering slight symptoms.
Assumedly, they’ve been handling fuel
with additives. Bulk carrier arrived at Nevelsk Anchorage on Feb 13, most
probably for loading coal.
