Fishing boat sank after contacting Capesize bulk carrier, 4 missing

Indonesian 15-meter wooden fishing boat KERINCI INDAH 02 sank after contacting Capesize bulk carrier CAPE KALLIA at dawn Nov 17 in Indian ocean, some 55 nm SE of southernmost Bali island, Indonesia.
Bulk carrier was en route from China to Hedland Australia, apparently in ballast. Considering the size of mammoth bulk carrier and her ballast condition, and the size and wooden hull of a fishing boat, it was most probably, not some direct hit, but a contact or brush, enough for tiny boat to capsize and sink.
As well, it may hardly come as a surprise, if bulk carrier watch didn’t spot boat at all until contact ( it was dawn, i.e. restricted visibility), or spotted it too late to undertake effective evasive maneuver (and it’s an open question so far, who was to give way to whom).
CAPE KALLIA didn’t sail away after
accident, she turned back and rescued 7 fishermen out of 11 who were on board.
4 are remaining missing. Understood bulk carrier was ordered to return to
Indonesian waters after accident, she sailed back to Lombok Strait and was
anchored off Mataramo, Lombok island, Lombok Strait. As of 1100 UTC Nov 18, she
was still at anchor.
