for digital innovation in the AI-powered shipping industry at KLCSM in Busan on July 2 and take a commemorative photo.
KLCSM, an affiliate of SM Group's shipping division, will introduce a slip automation
solution based on AI.
KLCSM announced on the 23rd that it will apply "skyour.work," an AI slip automation
solution, to the in-house slip processing process for the first time in the shipping industry.
KLCSM, an affiliate of SM Group's shipping division, provides total solutions to ships
operated by Korea LINE, SM LINE, and CM Shipping.
Askyour.work is a system that integrates Generative AI, optical character recognition
(OCR) and documentation AI (AI, which automatically extracts information by analyzing
documents) to convert different invoices into standardized forms so that they are
automatically entered during slip processing.
It is expected to contribute to enhancing work efficiency by drastically reducing
the time required for simple repetitive tasks such as inspection and typing of
documents attached to the slip. Earlier, KLCSM also signed a strategic partnership
with Teamreboott to begin digital transformation (DX) of the shipping industry,
including the development of this system.
The two companies plan to continue to cooperate in the development of AI systems
and plan and operate new technology projects that can be applied to various
business areas. The plan is to respond to trend changes and improve global
competitiveness by accelerating the digital transformation of the shipping industry.
"We will continue to introduce innovative AI solutions that can be used in various
industries in the future," said Choi Sung-chul, CEO of Teamreboott (Professor of
System Management and Safety Engineering at Pukyong National University).
"We will do our best to lead the digital transformation of shipping, logistics and trade."
"Automating the process and minimizing errors with the introduction of skyour.work
will greatly increase overall work productivity and efficiency," said Kwon O-gil, CEO
of KLCSM. "We will solidify our position as a leading company in digitalizing the shipping
industry and upgrading AI technology through a strategic partnership with Teamreboott."
