ISM CODE(International Safety Management Code)
International Safety Management Code enacted by the IMO that certifies that a company's safe management system complies with the standard required for safe vessel navigation and work required for pollution prevention. Company is issued with document of compliance (DOC) for safety management adn vessel is issued with safely management certificate(SMC) after the registry's supervising institution conducts review.- 1. ISPS CODE (International Ship and Port Facillity Security Code)This is the certificate that certifies the ability to carry out ISPS code regulation as the security in the maritime is strengened to prepare against possible maritime terrorim at the cargo vessels that carry LNG and LPG and port facilities after the 9.11.2001 terrorism (US).
