KLCSM Co., Ltd., an affiliate of the SM Group's shipping division, held its first captains' meeting in 2023 for a total of 17 captains and chiefs on active duty (leave) on March 29.

This conference was held face-to-face for the first time in three years since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, and it became a meaningful meeting that enabled more in-depth communication.

In particular, this meeting dealt with in-depth topics centered on environment and safety, such as technical information delivery to respond to EEXI/CII (Ship Energy Efficiency Index/Carbon Intensity Index) and case analysis to prevent accidents/PSC DETENTION. There was interest and active participation.

Also, during the free discussion session, immediate feedback from the team in charge of the captains' suggestions made the face-to-face meeting more meaningful.

KLM Co., Ltd. will continue to hold regular meetings to further strengthen communication between land and sea, deliver the latest technological information, and actively respond to the captain's proposal.
